Michelle is a glass artist and the founder of Forged In Fire Jewellery based right here in Canberra. Using traditional Italian lampworking techniques, she melts Murano glass rods in an intense flame to create jewellery designed to be worn and treasured. Each piece is a unique miniature art work.
Michelle’s work is inspired by the belief that the things we choose to wear every day should have meaning. Not be disposable. Her jewellery is created for women who appreciate quality, artistry and thoughtful design – women who want bold pieces that are an extension of themselves rather than bending to passing trends. Through colour, light and form, she creates jewellery intended to bring a quiet sense of confidence, peace and strength to the wearer as they move through everyday life.
